Daren Reid and the Soul City Groove recently performed in Vietnam for a Global Conference. It is not unusual for the band to be flown to exotic locations such as Hayman Island, in the Whitsundays.

Just a note to say that the Band were outstanding last Saturday night!

The absolute highlight of the night and I hope they don’t get ‘discovered’ by some out of towner and leave Perth! I’ve seen a huge number of acts in the past 20 years that I’ve been running this business and can tell you they are a world class act. (You probably know that though!) Every single number was incredible and Daren is a real draw card, he had the ladies mesmerised and the guys up dancing.

Just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to both of you and of course to Daren Reid and the band members for a fantastic performance at the 2010 Celebration of Women Long Table Lunch on Monday.

We had 550 people, majority of ladies who had a great time, eating, drinking, and then dancing the end of the day away to Daren’s energetic performance – the ladies absolutely loved it. You may see a photo in the next few days of about 100 women on stage with Daren... I walked out from behind the stage to see it, was quite a sight!

One lady even told one of our staff that she doesn’t care about the food or the drinks, she just comes every year to dance!

What a night it was - all good. Daren and the Soul City Groove certainly made the last three hours. They were brilliant and the feedback we have had has been all positive.
